The OD Art Awards, organized by OD Hotels and IbizArt Guide, are an annual event aimed at promoting contemporary art and supporting both emerging and established artists. Seventh Edition of the OD Art Awards 2024
On October 17, Ibiza will host the Seventh Edition of the OD Art Awards, an event that has established itself as a key platform for emerging talent and contemporary art on the island. The ceremony will be held at Ocean Drive Ibiza and will feature prominent figures from the world of art and culture, as well as a jury composed of renowned experts.
Among the jury members of this edition are Angelo Ammendola, founder of Seed Media Agency; Borja Moya, historian and cultural manager; Marisol Ferrer, Councillor for Culture of Santa Eulària des Riu; Charles Bromley, art collector; Juan Suárez, journalist; and Marc Rahola, CEO of OD Group. They will be responsible for evaluating the works presented in the various categories and selecting the winners of this edition.
The event will also feature Anna Bigas, Editor-in-Chief of IbizArt Guide and Director of Institutional Relations of OD Group, who will deliver a welcome speech to inaugurate the gala. Throughout the evening, the best artists of the IbizArt Guide collective exhibition, as well as those selected in the OD Art Awards “La Sal” Contest, a collective exhibition that has been on display at Ocean Drive Talamanca, will be awarded.
One of the most anticipated moments of the night will be the presentation of the OD Emerging Artist Award, the Digital Art Award, and the OD Lifetime Achievement Award, which recognizes an artist’s contribution throughout their career. The names of the winners will be revealed during the gala, keeping the anticipation until the last moment.
The night promises to be a celebration of local and international artistic talent in an environment that reflects OD Hotels’ commitment to culture and inclusion. The gala will conclude with a group photo gathering the award winners, the jury, and those responsible for delivering the prizes.
